CDMC Deburring Solutions Support the Manufacturing Industry
When you’re considering the addition of deburring to your manufacturing processes, we hope you think of the Cleveland Deburring Machine Company (CDMC). Over the years, we’ve helped many businesses find innovative ways to improve their manufacturing processes through custom deburring solutions.
The process of deburring is a proven way to eliminate thin, rough ridges from metal materials as well as remove rough spots and burrs. The preventative act of deburring not only results in the creation of a better-quality output, it also generates a product that minimizes the possibility of damage to a machine and to the human tasked with using the machine.
The need for deburring machines translates across multiple sectors in the manufacturing industry. At CDMC, we’re proud to say our deburring processes, including abrasive brush machining, de-flashing, and descaling, continue to bring a range of benefits to a multitude of manufacturers that are looking to create better, stronger, more-reliable products.
Family-Owned and Operated
While many manufacturers know our work under the CDMC name, you might not know almost 27 years ago we originally got our start as On-Line Services, Inc. The company was founded by Eric Mutschler. Fourteen years after its founding, Eric sold On-Line Services, Inc. But understanding the importance of quality deburring solutions to the manufacturing industry, Eric later reinvested those assets in a new business in 2009. His investment went into Cleveland Deburring Machine Company, founded by his sons Adam and Christopher.
Knowing the benefits of a good thing, today CDMC occupies the same space in Cleveland where On-Line Services once stood. The Mutschler family understands the importance of offering top-notch deburring services that are simple and streamlined, never complicated.
Quality Stands the Test of Time
Quality work should stand the test of time, so while times change and technology improves, we believe there will always be a need for quality machine finishing solutions. Deburring remains one of the best and most cost-effective ways to minimize wear on parts, extend tool life and increase productivity. We know when tools and machines function more efficiently, our customers save time, money and manpower. Customer-driven, flexible deburring solutions are key to making this a reality.
In the coming years, CDMC will continue to look for ways to improve how we offer custom deburring solutions to our valued customers. This includes utilizing a local supply chain to make parts and assembling machinery in our in-house workshop. We believe efforts such as these allow us to maintain a level of flexibility that helps us meet the evolving deburring demands of the industry and its individual manufacturers. At CDMC, we understand our clients and their needs demand and deserve unique deburring solutions.
