Titanium Turbine Blade Deburring

CDMC is dedicated to deburring the mounting flange of aircraft engine turbine blades in a wide range of sizes.

Two large nylon radial brushes contact the part, which is clamped in a rotating part holder of the customers’ design. Interchangeable part holding tooling allows for fast change-overs. Due to the brush pressures and times required to deburr titanium, an integrated coolant system keeps everything cool. greatly increasing the brush life. OLS’s exclusive Auto Amp Compensation system maintains constant brush pressure throughout the life of the brushes for consistent quality and maximum media usage. Average cycle time is 90 seconds.
